Tell Boxer and Feinstein: Lead in protecting Californians from dangerous reactors

The two nuclear reactors at San Onofre in southern California were shut down after almost brand-new equipment critical to their operation failed key safety tests -- and even leaked radiation.

But Southern California Edison, wants to restart them as early as June 2012 risking further breakdowns and a radioactive crisis that could endanger millions of Californians.

Senators Boxer and Feinstein chair key committees overseeing the Nuclear Regulatory Commission -- and they can intervene.

Please email your CA senators today. Urge them to use their oversight authority to ensure San Onofre's malfunctioning reactors remain shut down.
