If we don't stop it, Keystone XL will transport nearly a billion barrels of highly toxic tar sands oil through America's heartland every day for 50 years or more. Along the way it will crush some of the last habitat for endangered species like the swift fox and whooping crane. It'll pollute water used by millions of people and emit as many greenhouse gases as 51 coal-fired power plants.
We have to stop it.
The Center for Biological Diversity has spearheaded a national effort to raise awareness about Keystone and keep the pressure on President Obama to make the right choice. We'll do everything we can to stop this project in its tracks.
This is a critical moment in a tough fight, but we can win it with your help.
Please make your gift today and help us put an end to the Keystone XL disaster.
