Rights-based State Constitutional Conventions are Coming!

What if our best hope for change is not just “electing the right people” but rather making sure the rules serve the people (and then elect good folks to office)? That’s exactly what people in over 160 communities across the United States have been doing over the last decade by passing local Community Bills of Rights that subordinate corporations to the rights of residents and ecosystems. Now its time to do the same thing at the State level, and many states have already begun, and California may be next!
