Tell Congress: protect clean water, stop the Regulatory Fairness Act
We need your help to protect Bristol Bay and the Clean Water Act from Congress!
In February the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) took a huge step toward saving the world’s largest wild sockeye salmon fishery in Bristol Bay, Alaska.
Using the Clean Water Act, the EPA is on track to protect Bristol Bay’s fragile ecosystem from the toxic mine waste threats posed by the Pebble copper/gold mine proposal.

Now some, despite overwhelming public support for EPA’s move, some members of Congress want to stand in the way.
They call their bill the Regulatory Fairness Act of 2014 (HR 524/S 2156). But instead of fairness, the bill weakens the Clean Water Act to block EPA from protecting the environment as it is on track to do in Bristol Bay.
TAKE ACTION: Tell Congress to vote no on the Regulatory 'Fairness' Act!
