NBC is cooperating with Israeli authorities to produce a new action series, DIG, that will be set and shot in occupied East Jerusalem.
While NBC has denied earlier reports that the show would be filmed in the so-called “City of David National Park,” an illegal Israeli settlement located in the Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan, the network has since refused to clarify to Palestinian groups if they will be shooting in other parts of occupied East Jerusalem. Media reports have also indicated that the series will be partially funded by various Israeli government bodies that are responsible for formulating and implementing policies that systematically violate international law and discriminate and oppress Palestinians in occupied East Jerusalem.
Going through with this project in East Jerusalem means NBC is supporting Israel's grave violations of international law and makes the network complicit in Israeli crimes against Palestinians and efforts to whitewash human rights abuses.
Send an email demanding NBC not film in any part of occupied East Jerusalem, not cooperate with any official Israeli government bodies there, and not support this project seeking to whitewash Israeli occupation, apartheid, and colonization. Click "Select this recipient" below to begin.
