Stand up for academic freedom in New York State

Sign now to oppose bills in the NY legislature censoring free speech in colleges and universities across the state, further threatening critical funds for public education, and bullying those who criticize Israel's policies.

A.8392A & S.6438 aim to penalize colleges and universities by withholding state funding should they dare to spend any part of their budget to enable participation in organizations supporting boycotts of a list of countries, including Israel.

Join academics, labor unions, lawyers and activists in opposition to these unconstitutional and unconscionable bills. Help us get the message loud and clear to Assembly Speaker Silver: withdraw this legislation in any form.

Over 150 leading Israeli academics and writers- including Amos Oz and David Grossman- came to their defense.
