This study guide, written for people of faith and religious leaders, includes definition, prevalence, science on sexual orientation and gender identity, Scripture, information for congregations on youth programs and family issues, denominational perspectives, study questions and worship resources. Even though we can be happy that President Obama President said he’d sign executive order to protect LGBTQ employees of federal contractors, millions of LGBTQ people go to work every day without those protections. Join with Freedom to Work to take action to help educate the American public about why LGBTQ Americans need the basic workplace protections that the Employment Non-discrimination Act (ENDA) provides.

Multicultural Ministries Sharing Project Report Available June 26The Multicultural Ministries Sharing Project Report will be released at General Assembly in Providence next week. Get your copy to learn what a large group of UUs othered by ability, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, race, and/or ethnicity shared with us about their experiences, thoughts, and dreams. The Report will be available online at www.uua.org/sharingproject by June 26. Detailed information and related congregational resources will be available on the website by July 15.
