100 Days of Guantanamo Hunger Strike: International Days of Action

Protesting to stop torture at Guantanamo

May 17th marks 100 days of the 2013 hunger strike at Guantanmo. According to the US government, half of the prisoners are on hunger strike, while Guantanamo attorneys report almost all prisoners are participating. A number are undergoing periodic force-feedings. Many are near death.

It is up to us to amplify their voices and create a political situation where the Obama administration is forced to release those GTMO prisoners cleared; charge and try those they are holding indefinitely, and finally — after more than four years — close the prison camp.

Join in this effort by organizing an action in your area. This call to action was initiated by the London Guantanamo Campaign.
